Weston Suite

This primary bedroom project replaced an existing suite with the goal of increasing its openness and views to the outside, while updating and simplifying the overall design. We raised the bathroom and bedroom ceilings, curving the plaster up from the paneling to the ceiling to provide a visually softer transition. The existing toilet room and shower, which had previously been enclosed by solid walls, were opened and framed with steel and glass. We concealed the TV in pocketing panels and added oak-paneled walls, a brass inlay around the fireplace, and a freestanding mirror embedded in stone backsplash.
